There are several options when it comes to bleaching your teeth. Some can be very costly. Our preferred method is at home bleaching with custom made trays from our laboratory. This allows you to bleach when it's convenient for you. We offer several solution strengths, allowing you to bleach for one hour to all night.

Depending upon your situation, we can complete a restoration in as little as one hour, or a full mouth reconstruction in two appointments. The staff will accommodate your schedule to make sure you receive your new smile as quickly as possible.

Silver mercury was once a common material used for fillings. We now know that mercury can actually cause further damage to a tooth's structure. Because mercury is made of metal, it expands and contracts. The expansion of the metal presses against the remaining healthy portions of your tooth, leading to fractures. Likewise, when the metal contracts, the margin between the mercury metal opens up, allowing bacteria to harbor under the filling. This causes recurrent decay under and around silver fillings.

Today we use tooth colored restorations or resin. These restorations look and feel just like your natural tooth. The material doesn't expand and contract like metal fillings, limiting the chances for decay to redevelop. It is also a healthier solution, since it's free of any mercury.

Insurance companies vary in their benefits from one employer to the next. Your insurance coverage is based upon the contract between your employer and your insurance company. In most situations, cosmetic dentistry is not covered by insurance. While they may cover a portion of a tooth that requires medical treatment, they will most likely not cover procedures that offer a beautiful smile.
